Physio4Life has a 24hr Cancellation Policy. If you need to cancel / re-arrange any appointments, please give us 24hrs notice.
Failing this a cancellation charge will be applied; this is 50% of consultation charges and full cost of any classes or personal training.
Any courses for Personal Training, Pilates, Massage are valid for six months from the date of purchase and money cannot be refunded or transferred to other services at Physio4Life.
Failing to give 24hrs notice to cancel an appointment that is part of a course, you will unfortunately loose that one session completely.
Please be aware that during physiotherapy assessments and treatments you may be required to get undressed so please bring a pair shorts or wear suitable underwear (This is especially paramount during back, pelvic and groin assessment / treatments). We do not want any of our patients to feel uncomfortable or embarrassed and we offer both female and male physiotherapist so please inform our receptionist if you would prefer to see a therapist of a particular gender this is particularly important if you have any form of groin, hip or pelvic pain. If at anytime during the assessments or treatments you feel uncomfortable or unhappy please inform the therapist immediately who will take the appropriate action, answer any question you may have about the examination and if appropriate refer you to another physio. At Physio4Life all our physiotherapists are highly experienced musculoskeletal specialists who incorporate a variety of hands on specialist skills and are able to treat a multitude of problems with various treatment methods, including manipulation, acupuncture, massage, exercise therapy, pilates, electrotherapy and numerous other techniques. The physio's do appreciate that you may have certain amount of anxiety during the assessments/ treatments and will do there very best to explain exactly what they are doing and why and also to make you feel at complete ease.
Please feel free to bring a chaperone to your appointments.
Children under the age of 16 years are required to have a parent or guardian to be present at the initial consultation. Chaperones if required can be arranged for all follow up treatments.

Our physiotherapist are recognised and registered with all major health insurance policies. Due to the complex nature or insurance policies and the various different types we are unable to deal directly with the insurance company. We therefore ask all patients to pay at the time of there appointment via cash, cheque, DD and credit cards. We will be able to give you the appropriate invoices which you will be able to use to claim back.
Currently AXA PPP is the only insurance company that will not reimburse the full cost of initial consultation of £65 (we have been informed they will reimburse £40). They will reimburse in full all follow up sessions of 30 min £45 but will not reimburse if sessions are longer than 30 min so please be aware if your follow up treatments require longer than 30 min.
Email is used to confirm all appointments and to send out reminders for appointments, which we find very useful in preventing booking errors. We also use email to circulate our quarterly newsletter as well as sending out information regarding new services or changes to services. Please advise if you would prefer not to receive emails of this nature.
