Daniel Wellard - Senior Personal Trainer
Daniel Wellard is ACSM Health and Fitness Instuctor Certified and holds a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science.

From a very early age sport, in particular football, has played an important role in Daniel's life. Although he had never played at an elite level the enjoyment of participating in sports has led him to further his education and develop a career in this field.
Since 1995 Daniel has studied many areas of sport and exercise. This has provided him with excellent working knowledge in many areas including exercise physiology, sports nutrition and health/fitness testing. Since graduating in 1999 Daniel has worked within the health and fitness industry at one of London's well respected health clubs. During this time he has gained excellent experience and furthered his credentials to develop into a highly regarded and dependable Personal Trainer.
The main focus of Daniel's work has centred on developing clients abilities in order to achieve the following goals:
- Body fat loss
- Strength training and muscle growth
- Cardiovascular fitness training
- Improving health status (i.e. blood pressure, cholesterol)
- Core conditioning
- Assisting clients to train for marathons
To achieve success within each and every client, Daniel works with them to assertain their exact needs. From the feedback he recieves he can develop a specialised and progressive exercise programme in order to effeciantly reach the clients goals. The training sessions are focused, enjoyable and extremely motivating.
Throughout this year Daniel is training to develop into an NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) practitioner which can only give Daniel more success with his training. NLP training concentrates on establishing positive beliefs by alterining thought patterns which facilitate bad habits (habits which inhibit clients in achieving their goals).
With the combination of precise exercise prescription, one to one training and NLP coaching less and less people will find it difficult to change their behaviour in order to achieve their goals. This will pave the way for more and more individuals to improve their performance and attain their goals, whether they wish to lose weight and improve their health/fitness or improve elite sports performance.
