I work in an office and suffer with really bad shoulder and neck pain. The tightness causes me to have really bad headaches, which makes me even more stressed.
I found Physio4life online and explained my pain to the receptionist over the phone. She was very helpful and advised I book in for a sports/deep tissue and recommended Arek. I was also offered a same day appointment which was great.
I booked 60 minutes, because I wanted to make sure the therapist had enough time to work in the areas I needed help with. Arek was very professional and so knowledgeable. He worked on my upper back, neck and shoulders and for the first time in months I felt like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders and neck! I am so grateful for the physio4life team - I already have my next appointment booked!
Arek qualified with a BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Sports & Remedial Massage from the North London School of Sports Massage and is a member of the Institute for Soft Tissue Therapists (ISRM).
Arek’s initiation to the world of massage happened in a small Thai island, Koh Tao, where he completed a course in Trigger Point Therapeutic Thai Massage with a local Master. He became so drawn to learning about the body, so upon his return to Europe, he went to study Sports & Remedial Massage. He has since continued to develop his knowledge and experience of treating people with various injuries, athletes and those struggling with aches and pains from postural imbalances, daily stress and lifestyle.
Arek also has 5 years of working experience as a specialist run and ski technician supporting runners overcome injuries and performance issues by administering expert footwear and exercise advice and insole solutions. This work has helped him realise how much injury prevention and performance is ultimately down to us; how we treat our bodies, how we prepare and how we restore.
Arek is a keen long distance runner who completed road and mountain marathons, he’s been rock climbing for nearly 20 years and skiing since early teenage age. His main mean of transport in London is a bicycle.
