joined boot camp on a friends recommendation for some challenging and really effective exercise.
My aim is to be fitter and healthier to be an interactive parent to my daughters and to finally shift the weight gained from bringing up small children (I’m thinking the delights of comfort food like mac n cheese and endless bowls of pasta!)
I’ve never been a gym bunny, I thrive on working out in a fun environment with friends. So boot camp is perfect because not only do you get pretty much 1:1 PT support and advice from Dan on how to do the exercises properly and most effectively, you get encouragement and back patting from your friends, lots of support and top tips on lifestyle, nutrition and healthy living, all alongside a personalised play list of your favourite tunes. It’s basically like a fun night out chatting with your friends (albeit you’re all wearing lycra) with the added bonus of getting fitter!
Dan’s classes make me feel proud of my achievements, proud of my body and my strength, and I love going along to them each week. I don’t even view it as a workout – it’s basically a great fun hangout.

Discover how you can lose weight, feel good and look great in 50 days, without stepping foot inside a gym and without giving up wine
Do you find yourself in an endless whirlpool of doing things for everyone else and having no time to go to the gym and do something for yourself?
Would you like to discover how to lose weight, become fitter, have more energy without stepping foot inside a gym?
Firstly, as well as a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, I am a family guy who is a dad to 2 boys aged 7 and 10 years old. Therefore, I understand that modern day family life as well as working life, is non stop.
This can make you too tired to make time for yourself and you’re left feeling exhausted, stressed, less fit and frustrated with how the way you look and feel.
For over 15 years now, I have had the pleasure of helping people just like you become fitter, slimmer, more energised and feel less stressed.
My road to all of this started when I graduated with a Sports Science degree in 1999.
7 days after I graduated, I started working as a gym instructor at Holmes Place Health Club (no rest for the wicked!!!!!). I wrote programmes for new members, most of which were women, and I taught classes like Body Pump and RPM (some of you may know it as spinning).
During my time at Holmes Place, the powers above me helped me develop my skills to become a Personal Trainer. I spent the next few years i had the pleasure of coaching people, on a one to one basis, to lose weight, have more energy, and ultimately feel great. Whatever the outcome, and it was mostly fat loss and fitness, I would be the person who would set out the best plan for them, train them week by week and help them reach their desired outcome.
When I left Holmes place, I set up a Personal Training business in a private gym in Putney. Because I enjoyed helping people on a one to one basis and I saw how much people enjoyed group exercise I have developed packages which amalgamate the two.
This is where it all happens nowadays. This is how I have developed my Fit Camp packages and personal training programmes. They help people, who feel unfit, demotivated and confused (about what’s the right thing to do) become fitter, slimmer and feel great. And they do it in a fun environment! The clients all become good friends.
You will receive the very best help, to become fitter, slimmer and feel great.
And that’s not all, because I love what I do, I always read around the subjects of nutrition, fitness and motivation. Each year I continue to learn and over the years I gain more more knowledge.
