Julie has been teaching Pilates for 22 years .
She started off as a personal trainer, massage and beauty therapist .
She competed in fitness contests in her 20’s and is very competent in sculpting and re- shaping the body.
When she found Pilates she began to change and favoured strengthening and lengthening the muscles to create freedom and balance in the body .
Julie blends techniques such as : myofascial release , Somatics , Faldenkrais and a Franklin method to create a bespoke exercise routine to create this freedom in the body and to rehabilitate patients from injury to find balance and become pain free .
Essentially Julies method provides an autonomy within the patient and she provides them with a skill set of exercises so they can self manage in times of duress.
Julie’s expertise are : back pain , sciatica , scoliosis , osteoporosis , tendinopathy and to find balance and freedom in the body .
