Lachlan is an Australian trained physiotherapist, who graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from James Cook University in Townsville. He is also a Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach. Lachlan has been living in London the past 6 months, and joins us after recently working as a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist in a privately contracted NHS role.
During Lachlan’s time at home working in private practice, he gained experience working with an array of clients across the general population and sporting athletes – especially runners, footballers, rugby union players and tennis players. He has a strong background in sporting physiotherapy and worked as the club physiotherapist for a local rugby union team for several years.
Lachlan is passionate about treating all musculoskeletal injuries and striving towards excellent outcomes for all of his clients. He has attended a range of professional development courses and has additional training in dry needling and blood flow restriction.
Lachlan’s special interests include:
- post-surgical rehabilitation (especially ACL reconstruction),
- persistent/complex lower back pain
- adolescent injuries
On a personal note – Lachlan has competed at tennis and cricket at a representative level over a number of years. He is a passionate Aussie Sporting Fanatic and supporter of Liverpool Football Club. In his free time, Lachlan enjoys to keep active with his gym, social sporting ventures and hiking when he can!
