Veronica has a long background studying body movement with twenty years of experience in Yoga, Pilates, Fitness, Postural Exercises, and Dance. She began with ballet and and capoeira classes at the age of 8. In 1999, her mother introduced Yoga to her and since then has been practicing and teaching yoga. Thereafter, she studied and practiced different styles, such as Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, and Iyengar Yoga.
In 2005 during her studies in BSc Physical Education and Sport Science, she came across Pilates for the first time at Rodrigo Mayer’s Studio, Romana Kryzanowska’s disciple. Since then, Pilates changed her understanding of the body and gave her the tools to evolve her approach that truly free’s the body and it’s movement. In 2011, she received her first certified for Pilates Studio with Power Pilates International (method Classical) and later qualified as a Polestar Pilates Matwork teacher. Since 2011, she has been teaching Pilates in different Studios, working with Pilates and Yoga students of various ages and needs: athletes, pregnant and postnatal women, post-surgery rehabilitation and osteoporosis. Veronica truly believes in the transformative power that pilates creates on the movement of the body. So much so, she decided to go deeper into studying the full comprehensive teachings of Pilates through Polestar Pilates method , which has amplified her capacity to work with both visions of Pilates, in Mat and Equipment.
