Bio

Dora, born and raised in Greece is an experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates instructor.

Post-graduation she did clinical placements in a public hospital and joined a private physiotherapy clinic in which she used to treat various musculoskeletal patients and athletes such as recreational runners, semi-professional basketball players and Greece’s National practitioner doing in-house consultations and providing physiotherapy assessment and treatment. While working as a physiotherapist, she developed a keen interest in chronic pain and mental health.

Dora’s area of specialization are: spine, including sciatica, herniated/bulging disc management, mechanical low back pain, non-specific low back pain, upper back and neck pain and she has a special interest in persistent pain.

Dora is also experienced with cross fit injuries such as soft tissue injuries, shoulder pathologies and knee injuries from acute to chronic stages and marathon/running injuries like calf strains and iliotibial band syndrome.

Her treatment sessions incorporate:

  • Pain relief techniques (Therapeutic massage, Soft tissue Mobilization, Myofascial release, Acupuncture, Taping)
  • Kinesiotherapy & Exercise prescription
  • Taping
  • Patient education

She is certified in:

Clinical Pilates, Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, NADA Acudetox (for Mental Health and PTSD), Soft tissue release using Ergon tools, IASTM International Diploma, Advanced Neuro-Musculoskeletal and Sports Taping Techniques.

Dora loves good quality coffee, reading books, video editing, hiking and swimming. She believes that exercise is medicine for physical and mental health and always says:
