Bio

I’m a Pilates instructor with many specialist skills to make you progress faster, and in a way that feels easier! The way I work is highly individualised; what matters to me is what matters most to you. I help clients achieve specific rehab or performance goals using a wide range of tools, techniques, and personal experience. I also developed extensive expertise on the neuromuscular side of things and I can modulate your nervous system to increase mobility or muscle activation instantly and/or lower pain levels significantly and quickly! Providing that it is safe to do so of course; I work closely with physiotherapists and consultants to collaborate safely and give you the best possible results as quickly as possible. How do I do it? I work on your system as a whole, not just the site of injury/pathology.

I’m also a massage therapist and I currently offer holistic (Swedish) massage, while studying towards further qualifications including Sports Massage.

I myself have a background in Dance and I trained in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Locking, Popping, Hip-Hop, etc… I danced professionally for around 6 years, mostly in the commercial side of Dance (music videos, tours, fashion shows, etc..) As Assistant Choreographer I worked on projects for major artists and brands. Like many dancers Pilates had become part of my own routine to manage injuries and 10 years after I stopped dancing I decided to start teaching. I was very quickly pulled towards the world of rehab as I straight away attracted clients with special and rehab needs and got very good results with them. But it was my own story that made this decision for me: in September 2019 as I was working as a Pilates instructor in Abu Dhabi I was the passenger in a high speed car collision and I landed unconscious in an ICU with many life threatening fractures and a severe head trauma. As I was not able to access rehab whether in the UAE or upon my return to the UK I trained myself in order to do my own rehab completely on my own, achieving a level of recovery that I was told was not possible. And this is something I now transpose into my work, I can make the impossible seem possible for you too. It may seem like magic, but it’s just what happens when we really understand how the brain functions.
