I now know exactly what I need to do to stay fit and healthy

Before I started at Dan’s Bootcamps I didn’t really have an idea of what I wanted to do to get fit and healthy.  I think I wanted to try and deal with everything in one go, get fit, tone up, lose the fat, build muscle and have someone to tell me how best to do it.  Other problem was being a tight northerner I didn’t want to pay the extortionate prices for a personal trainer which seemed my only option…

That was until I came across Dan’s Bootcamp sessions.  Not only did it offer everything I was looking for, at a fraction of the price (and the bonus is that you receive loyalty discounts for staying on the program – rather than offers applying to new customers only) and it also offered way more including: 

  • Nutritional coaching (I soon realised this was just as important as the fitness side)
  • Free weigh-ins and accurate fat assessments
  • Daily emails, newsletters and a dedicated You Tube channel
  • Recipes that allow you to eat tasty healthy meals
  • Small dedicated tailored classes

 The other major positive from this experience was the social side where I met a lot of other like-minded people just looking to stay fit and healthy and with some organised social activities some of these people I now consider friends.

 In the four years or so I have been going to Bootcamp I have never missed a single class of my own accord.  This is because the fundamental difference to a normal gym is the fact you have someone to be accountable to and trust me this makes a massive difference.  Dan talks about this a lot in his emails as well and he’s very good at motivating you to want to do well. 

Probably the best thing about the classes though is that I now know exactly what I need to do to stay fit and healthy. It’s not a diet it’s a way of life and its now instinctive and natural in me what I need to do.  I know exactly what foods or drinks I should or shouldn’t be eating and I know how to get the best out of the exercise I do. Probably Dan’s biggest achievement with me though is in getting me to eat vegetables and salad!!
