In large part thanks to you both, I completed the Ultra Trail Mont Blanc last on Sunday. My leg injuries, which I had been worrying over profusely, as you well know, hardly hampered progress and I am sure that was mostly down to the three physio sessions you carried out. I didn’t win, alas (joking, I never expected to) but finished in 344th place in a time of 38 hours and 38 minutes. Ironically, a nasty chest infection slowed me down in the last twelve hours, but I survived.
Many thanks, guys. I have raised over £2,000 for the Irish Guards Appeal (rehabilitation of soldiers returning from Afghanistan) in completing the race. I would thoroughly recommend you both to any other hobbling runners looking to be set back on track!
